Summer of Love n Glastonbury

The summer of the love in Glastonbury is a throw back from the 1960-1970, ran by a good friend of mine. I work here once a week, you meet a lot of interesting people. Most of them are surprised that this shop exist. I guess its the diamond between all of the rubble, I mean Glastonbury has a lot of wonderful and unique shops (my grandfather would hate it) But I adore Glastonbury. It has something for everyone… From the Abbey to Goddess temple, From Witchcraft shops to the Summer of Love…..
It is really the Heart chakra of the world.
The heart of the world, it appeared, was Glastonbury, described by many as being a most beautiful place. The energy that came from Glastonbury was just incredible. It really was like the heart of the world, beating its own beat. My eyes were drawn instantly towards the tower on the highest point.
The Glastonbury Tor rises over the landscape with the St Michael Tower on the top, perched there, as though planted overnight. But it still belongs. As we pulled up and looked around I couldn’t believe it. The amount of witchcraft shops in one road made it look like Diagon Alley from Harry Potter.
“Pagan beliefs are strong here. However, Christianity is also strong here , and they live side by side, unlike other places,” Steven said as he looked around at the bustling street.
I think the energy of Glastonbury is fantastic, a lot of people cant handle it as said here:
“Glastonbury has energy more vibrant than almost anywhere else in the world. There are times though when Glastonbury will feel really heavy, and lots of people seem depressed. Energy is a deep and complicated subject; it is like swings and roundabouts, ups as well as down. Glastonbury has two major ley lines that run through it. You have the Michael and the Mary line. They flow, twist and weave their way around many sacred sites here, and then meet in an amazing fashion on the Tor.” Steven smiled at me, “Sorry about the education, I tend to get over-enthusiastic with energy.”
“Don’t worry about it, I mean, it’s not going to kill me is it?” I smiled back at him. “Go on, what’s the interesting fashion in the way they meet?”
“They meet in the form of an athame entering a chalice. The energies are extremely strong at the top of the Tor. Anyway, we will go up there soon. First of all let’s go to the Vortex art gallery just at the top of the High street.”
Some people seem to think of Glastonbury as an hippy paradise, full of drugs and people with mental health.
However that is just a sad misconception, us avalonians just have a way of seeming different to others… mind you in another way we are just the same.
So next to time you visit Glastonbury why dont you pop in to the summer of love and have a listen to Jimi Hendrix while seeing the wonderful things that entail in Glastonbury

Yes, Glastonbury is the heart chakra of this planet. I had no idea about this but felt it when I came first to Glastonbury about 14 years ago. I thought .. I made a new discovery and was happy to see later, that many people do believe the same.
…
I love the saying : In Glastonbury you will always get what you need ,but not nescescary what you want
However I love mostly going to the springs and the Tor..
